How does the download work from my website?

The proecedure is simple: Our PDF links are all public available. The URL is long and unpredictable.

Here are the steps to complete:

• In TailorPDF configuration you tell us the website address you would like to use.
  E.g. https://www.yourdomain.com/files/pdf.php
• We generate the pdf.php file for you, you can copy it to your webserver in the correct folder.
  The folder «files» given by your URL must be a folder below document root. You can choose any other folder and any deeper level.
  The best is to create atleast one new folder.
• After you copied the script to the correct place, we check if it is accessible and if it does its job. Only then the configuration is accepted.
• Every campaign you create from now on will automatically contain two URLs in the entriched data. One for yourdomain.com and one for TailorPDF.com.
• Du always can choose which one to use.
  
  Further aspects:
• What if you forgot to do the configuration – but already have generated a campaign?
  This is not a problem – After a successful setup of the configuration you just download the entriched data file again. It will contain both URLs.
• What if my webserver does not support PHP or has a missing PHP module?
  Please contact support – we will find a solution.
